It's common knowledge among Stooges fans that Moe Howard was the business brains of the group, both on screen and off. But Moe's financial expertise was used for more than just "official" Three Stooges business. He handled much of kid borther Curly's business affairs, advising him on investments and trying to convince him to save his money. Moe even wound up doing Curly's income tax returns for him! But Moe's efforts to convert his partners into businessmen never really paid off. As a retired Larry Fine, then living in a charity rest home, put it, "Moe saved his money-I spent mine." Moe, whom Larry claimed "owned most of North Hollywood," died a millionaire.
