SYN: Bortch, a shady-looking foreign spy, asks the Stooges (his neighbors) to accompany him to Pier Eleven. He is going back to his native land, and wants the Stooges to see him off. The Stooges however, decide to do a little spying of their own. Once onboard the ship, they discover that their good buddy Bortch, has hidden microfilms in watermelons in an attempt to steal government secrets. The Stooges feel it's their duty to humanity to expose Bortch's evil plan. They overtake him, steal back the microfilms, and turn him into the authorities. Once again, America is safe thanks to Moe, Larry and Shemp.

Quick Hits:

- In this unusually written short film, Bortch, played by Gene Stutenroth, is the only other supporting player besides the Stooges.

FN: Reworked as Commotion on the Ocean (11/8/56). The seasick gag is also seen in Back From the Front (5/28/43) and in Commotion on the Ocean (11/8/56).
