SYN: The Stooges are hired to lay carpet in the great Professor Sneed's home. Professor Sneed is a world-famous scientist who has discovered how to make a super-high powered rocket fuel. While the boys are busy tearing up Sneed's new carpet, three spies from the State of Anemia are plotting to kidnap Professor Sneed and steal his high-powered concoction recipe. The plan fails, however, when they grab the Stooges instead, mistaking Larry for professor Sneed. The boys are held captive and forced to create rocket fuel for the higher-ups of Anemia. Boy do they ever mix up some fuel!!! The only problem is that the Stooges version of rocket fuel is more like sulfuric acid that eats away anything in it's path. Eventually, the spies catch onto their mistake and realize that they've captured the wrong professor. The spies capture the real professor and his daughter Hazel. Hazel is a player, however, and manages to flirt her way out of a locked and guarded cell, and the Stooges use their sulfuric acid powered rocket fuel to eat away at the floor of their holding cell. They all make a break for the exits and manage to get away in a stolen Jeep.

Quick Hits:

- Did you know that writer/director Edward Bernds thought having Larry mistaken for the professor was an opportunity to utilize Larry's distinctive hair style. It worked!

FN: Reworked as Hot Stuff (9/6/56), using stock footage.
