SYN: The scene unfolds in a courtroom where Moe is being accussed of assaulting his two brothers-in-law, Larry and Joe with intent to commit mayhem. While on a hunting trip searching for peace and quiet, a wild encounter with a ferocious bear near a cabin in the woods is responsible for triggering this altercation. Moe, very close to a complete nervous breakdown, is doing all he can just to keep his wits about him in all the excitement. The excitement is just beginning however, because the Stooges cabin becomes the site of a stand-off between the Sheriff and an escaped bandit, Mad Bill Hookup. The boys eventually capture the crook and a grateful sheriff reveals that they'll receive a $10,000 reward (the same amount Moe owes his creditors!) The news excites Moe so much that they give the Sheriff a big hug and in the process of celebration fail to notice that Mad Bill has escaped!

Quick Hits:

- Did you know the cabin set used in this film shows up in many other Columbia productions, including several others that the Stooges made with Joe Besser as well as in the original episode that featured Curly Howard?
