SYN:
On their way home from a hard day's work, the Stooges
stumble across an infant on the doorstep of nearby home. Assuming
the child has been abandoned by it's mother, the Stooges decide to
turn the baby into the police. After sneaking the baby into their
"Absolutely, no Children" apartment, they decide it would
be best to make sure junior has been well fed before taking him to
the station. They send Larry on a shopping spree for groceries in
an attempt to fatten him up a bit, while Moe and Curly take care of
some more "Motherly" chores around the house. In the latest
daily newspaper they notice screaming banner headlines stating that
the manning baby has been kidnapped. Immediately, the trio panic.
In an attempt to return the tot, unobserved, Moe and Larry disguise
Curly as the infant's Irish mother. Curly's costume, however, doesn't
fool Officer O'Halloran, who happens to be Irish. O'Halloran, now
onto their scheme, chases them directly into a nearby Chinese laundry
where Curly hops into a laundry cart, and Moe and Larry come out disguised
as non-English speaking orientals pushing a laundry cart. They trick
O'Halloran temporarily, but flee the scene only to be captured moments
later when the laundry cart gets away and rolls downhill to a nearby
traffic intersection. Curly and the baby come out unharmed and the
boys finally get a chance to state their case. The Manning's being
perfectly understanding drop all charges and the Stooges, as a show
of gratitude, give little junior a complimentary clean-up at their
K9 laundry.

Did you know that Bess Flowers appeared
in films from leads to non-speaking roles for decades. She can be
glimpsed in Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window (1954).
