SYN: Mrs. Castor's magnificent display of pies and cakes is certain to impress her society guests, who are due for luncheon at any moment. The Stooges, working in the neighborhood as exterminators, have had no luck finding a home that requires their services. In a moment of inspiration, Larry concocts a surefire plot: the Stooges will plant moths, ants, mice, and bedbugs in the Castor home, then ring the doorbell and announce themselves to the owner. "Heaven must have sent you!" exclaims Mrs. Castor, who then hires the Stooges to work incognito. Although dressed dashingly in tuxedos and tails, the Stooges are not entirely discreet, losing cats in the piano and pest everywhere else before the pies and cakes become used for many purposes for which they were never intended.

Quick Hits:

- Did you know that the custard pies thrown in the messy Stooges gags weren't custard at all? Custard won't stick to an actor's face. A mixture of marshmallow, ground pumpkin, molasses and other ingredients was used instead.
