Rl. Oct. 4 / Prod. No. 4246 / 16 m / p d Jules White / st Elwood Ullman / scr Jack White / ad Willard Sheldon / ph Ray Cory / e Harold White / a Ross Bellah / C: Christine McIntyre (Ethel, in stock footage), Kenneth MacDonald (Allen), Symona Boniface (Mrs. Norfleet in stock footage and new), Dudley Dickerson (Henry, the cook in stock footage) and Herbert Evans (Wilks, the butler in stock footage)

SYN: As plumbers, the Stooges are summoned to the Norfleet mansion to recover a valuable diamond ring which slipped down a wash basin. Instead the Stooges wreak havok on the house by destroying the existing plumbing and creating more problems with the house than existed when they first arrived. This is really nothing new with the Stooges, neither is a pie fight, which is how this short ends, a massive splat-fest.

Quick Hits:

- Did you know that this short incorporates stock footage clips from Curly Howard shorts A-Plumbing We Will Go (4/19/40) and pie fight material from Half-Wit's Holiday (1/9/47)?

WT: Pixilated Plumbers (Scripted Dec. 29, 1955) / SD: 1 (M 1/16/56) / FN: A reworking of Vagabond Loafers (10/6/49), using stock footage. New segments: Moe and Larry search for the missing ring in a sink and throw pies at Allen (Kenneth MacDonald). Joe Palma is featured as "Shemp" in one shot honking the horn in the trios jeep. Christine McIntyre is likewise doubled in some scenes.
