SYN: The Stooges are awaken in the middle of the night by a crying baby, mistaken for a neighborhood Tom Cat. They spot a note written by a greiving mother and assume the child is abandoned. They quickly realize that they are all 1/3 of a father. When their maternal instincts kick in, they set out to fix breakfast for their new offspring, but later read in the newspaper that the police are looking for the kidnapped infant. Shortly thereafter a knock on the door reveals two police officers and the baby's mother. The Stooges quickly drop little Jimmy safely outside their window and head for their station wagon to get out of town. The police notice that the Stooges have run, and pursue closely on motorcycles. The Stooge stop and disguise the wagon with a tent in a nearby campsite only to hear the sound of little Jimmy who has somehow managed to climb into the back of the wagon. Yikes! Following a whirlwind chase, the cops recover the baby and the Stooges make a run for cover in some nearby bushes.

Quick Hits:

- Did you know that the role of Little Jimmy was actually played by Baby Joyce Gardner - a girl?

- The scene where the boys feed baby Jimmy an artichoke is hilarious! If you haven't seen it, check it out.

WT: Their First Baby / FN: Footage revived in Stop! Look! and Laugh! (7/60).
